Travelling In Rain

A bone-cracking jolt brought me to sense,
Coolness, I felt as the air was condense;
Sudden awaken by the pothole, I was dismay,
I just don’t know what to say.

Little fleeting streams veined over the windows,
Howling chilled air battered me like many arrows;
Amazed by the blurred world of green and gray,
I just don’t know what to say.

Turned around I looked to the passengers,
Few eyes brightened, few deep in slumbers;
Innocent smiles danced on kids faces with gay,
I just don’t know what to say.

For a heartbeat everything turned to white,
A rumble groaned after the flash of light;
The roof tickled in melody, owe to the spray,
I just don’t know what to say.

Drizzle went on till the clouds parted,
Curious, I glanced out whenever the bus halted;
Hours passed while end neared the way;
Still...I don’t know what to say.
